Have you been making the days count? Every day? The days come and go and the next day still happens, whether you’re onboard or not, so while you’re here, you might as well make the most of it.
That’s the thing, once you accept that this train keeps rolling no matter what you do or don’t do, the daily slog becomes just a little easier.
The day is here, you might as well grab it by the horns! If it didn’t happen for you today, it’s not all lost, take a quiet moment and think about the things that did work. What made you laugh out loud, what did you finally understand out of the blue? Did you do something kind for another person? Sometimes we don’t even realise that we are making a diffrence and we don’t give ourself the credit.
You do so much every day, it is never wasted. If you feel that you’ve misused some of your time today, own it and do better tomorrow. This is a marathon and resting is allowed, but going backward or quitting is not.
So, if you haven’t done it yet, get yourself a calendar. I like to print out one month per page, so there is a big space to scribble in. I then note important things for that day, like my workout, whether I stuck to my eating plan, whether I meditated or anything that matters to you. I then put a line through each day as they go by. It’s amzing to look at it later and see how far you’ve come.
Not every day is an absolute triumph, but seeing yourself move forward is a victory in itself.
Count every day because every day counts.
Weigh & Measure
Did you pick a day to weigh, measure and take a picture? It is time. Do it every week, for yourself, you won’t regret it.
Keep a Calendar
Keep track of the days with an online or physical calendar. It’s a great way to see your progress at a glance.
Celebrate Small Wins
Every little bit helps, in fact it’s the little things that you consistently do that gets you there in the end. Aknoledge and celebrate them.
One Day at a Time
That is all you have right now, stay in today and do the best you can just for today.
Words are seeds
Words are seeds
Small efforts every day,
makes you a winner in the end.
