There is much to do on the first day, so much in fact, that one could start the preparation process a week in advance. Since we didn’t have the luxury of time, let’s just hit the ground running – it is often the best way. Get on with it before you know what hit you.
It often helps to have a plan, decide how you’re going to go about your transformation and to set some goals, what do you want to get out of it. This process could get as complicated as you want to make it, but my advice is to keep it as simple as possible.
And don’t forget to measure and document as much as possible as you go, even if it’s just for yourself.
Bring your awareness to everything you do and think. What you eat, how you feel and what you do and don’t do.
One of the most important things is not to beat yourself up. Just don’t do it! If you fail, mess up, oversleep and eat a doughnut for breakfast, just dust yourself off and carry on. Tomorrow is another day.
“Just do your best, darling!”
You’re already fabulous!!
Some Ideas

Decide
Make the decision that you actually want to do this thing. Realise that it is all about the journey, the little things you do every day. The destination will, of course, be a huge reward, but the magic happens one day at a time.

Measure
Measuring is such an important step, don’t skip it. Weigh yourself, take some body measurements and take a few pictures.
I normally measure my waist, hips (bum) and thighs, you can definitely do more, but I am lazy when it comes to this and don’t want to set myself up for failure.
Take a picture from the front, back and side. I know it’s uncomfortable, but, trust me, when you compare the pictures later on, it will blow your mind.
Now decide which day of the week will be measuring day and do it more or less at the same time every week on that day. I like Sundays before breakfast.

Plan
Lay out some plans. Just sit down and scribble what you think you need to do to get where you want to go. Then start to write down the important points and formulate a plan from there. Do some research and get some help if you need to.
What I got up to
Jogging
I decided to go for a run, or more of a jog, but mostly walking kind of suffering thing. It’s a good place to start, even just a walk will make you feel like you did something and really helps towards clearing your mind.
Eat Healthy Food
I cleaned up my eating habits a bit just by deciding to eat more healthy food. It’s a good idea to stock up on some fresh veggies and a good rule of thumb is to eat your food in the most natural state possible. Try to avoid preservatives and anything that is not natural.
Visualise
I sat myself down and got a very clear picture of the wonderful place I’m going to be in 99 days from now. I don’t mean a physical place, but more of an emotional state. I just imagined how great I would feel in my fit body and happy life. It’s all about feeling the emotion and getting used to that feeling.

Words are seeds
If you don’t measure it,
you can’t manage it.
