Day 2 – Fundamentals

by | Jul 2, 2020 | 99 Days of Transformation | 0 comments

Are we having fun yet? Okay, I see, yes, maybe it’s a bit soon. But let’s try and put the fun back into fundamentals. Let’s build some strong foundations whilst having fun.

Today is the day to make some plans. What is it you want to do exactly? A whole bunch of us are losing weight, but for me, as you know, it’s so much more. I want to enjoy the journey while hacking away at my mindset and ultimately change the course of my life.

So may I reiterate again, let’s enjoy the journey! Whatever you think you messed up today, did you also bring awareness to what you did well? Did you actually allow yourself to have a teensy but of fun? Maybe you laughed out loud or did your worst redition of ‘I like the way you move’.

I, for one, won’t be going there but here’s a dare – try not to wiggle when you listen to one of my favourite workout songs. (On the left)

Anything? Yes, I can feel a wiggle coming on. If you just danced like a crazy thing to this song, you’d have done a good workout for today.

You are on the right track!

You are already winning.

Some Ideas

Have Fun

Do something silly, do something fun. Do something for yourself for a change.

Watch a funny movie. Buy a new sweater. Have a luxurious bubble bath or just have a conversation with a friend who makes you laagh.

We neglet these little things and they feel good. Off you go!

Excercise

Start to map out what kind of exercise you want to do. Walk, run, yoga … there are so many amazing online fitness programs, many of them free. So pick something that tickles your fancy. You’re welcome to spend a few days researching and finding something you like.

I think the best research is to try stuff, just do it today and see how you feel. But  do something! Anything.

And you won’t know fro sure that you don’t like it or can’t do it until you try it.

What I got up to

Shoulder Workout

Shopping

Laughing at myself
